Fabulous experience. The atmosphere here is very relaxed and friendly, I enjoy the jazz and swing music in an retro room... French Martini tastes full of kumquat and grapefruit aromas, with a giant caramelized sensation... so good. for me, the cuisine here is probably more of a fusion cuisine, worth to try :)

My father and I were visiting Toronto and decided to try the little French cafe around the corner from where we were staying, and I gotta say, it was a highlight of our trip !! The service was wonderful as we were chatting up a storm with our server, and I loved getting a pretty view of the outside with all the cute local shops. It’s pretty small but the atmosphere was great and the decorations are so quaint and lovely. The food was amazing, my father had a standard egg and bacon breakfast platter while I had the French onion soup !! Best French onion soup I’ve ever had it was delicious !!!!!! The volume of the music was perfect, the most relaxing smooth jazz ever, and just an overall great spot to have breakfast or brunch before embarking on the beauties surrounding it. Definitely recommend !!!!! Oh and do please try the tea and coffee, it’s amazing

The food was good and in the right amount. I enjoyed the beef bourguignon and creme brulee. My family member enjoyed the Croque Madame and French onion soup. The coffee was good. The staff automatically provided extra dishes and utensils that allowed the sharing of the soup and creme brulee. We have no complaints whatsoever.

It's a nice little restaurant on Baldwin Street. It's not a fancy place, but it has a great value. Good and quick service. Spicy PEI mussels can be cooked in no spicy way as per customer's request, and the dish is very good. The grilled salmon is a simple dish that requires a lot of mastery to overcome all the competition. The chef at Cafe Le Gaffe does that. The balsamic vinegar glaze really add interesting notes to the taste. Although, veggies on the side were exactly the same as for the steak. But you cannot anticipate different side dishes at such price range, thus, I'm OK with that. The steak was good as well as deserts - we had a Creme Brulee and a lemon cheesecake with refreshingly sour raspberry jam. I would highly recommend this place, especially for their grilled salmon and mussels

Servers are very nice, but they don't have a clue about service. It doesn't matter, because the food is so good that you can forgive the mediocre service. The Cabernet Merlot from Chile isn't bad. We were shocked it came in a 1.5L bottle for only 45. Guests from a table beside ours couldn't finish theirs so they gave us the leftovers? I had the rack of lamb. Superbly cooked. The creme brulee for dessert was perfect. I found the French onion soup a bit greasy. I have had better. We'll definitely come back.

the french food is good and nice to discover, especially the escargots as a starter, mussels are good too for an affordable price. main dishes are generous. excellent service as well. You have to come for the kindness of the waitress, who will make sure you have perfect time. thank you all the team FP

It's a pretty cozy place to have dinner if you're not in any rush. The french onion soup is delicious and the roasted duck was really good.
